Laura Ingraham says the Jan. 6 auditions were “bombarded” even though they had nearly 20 million views compared to Fox’s 3 million
Fox News presenter Laura Ingraham claimed that the Commission’s hearing on Thursday, January 6, was “bombed”, even though it had almost 20 million viewers.
Fox was the only major news outlet that did not broadcast the hearing live on Thursday afternoon, which was the Parliamentary Select Committee at the first large public hearing on January 6 on the Capitol attack, the attempt to overthrow the election and what it knew. then-President Donald Trump before and during the attack.
The committee members revealed that Trump and his allies staged a “coup attempt” and funded a disinformation campaign that “sparked violence on January 6.” They also said Ivanka Trump “accepted” the attorney general’s view that there was no electoral fraud and that several Republican lawmakers apologized after Jan. 6.
Ingraham’s claim that the hearings were “bombed” came as she responded to criticism from The View’s Joy Behar.
“Fox News did not broadcast the live hearings of the Commission on January 6 last night. Isn’t it a shock? “But they still had a lot to say about it.” “The usual suspects, Tucker [Carlson] and Ingraham, dusted off their biggest hits, calling the witch hunt, saying it was political revenge by Pelosi, and downplayed what happened on the 6th.
Behar added: “There were no commercial breaks on any show last night. So what does this tell you? “Rupert Murdoch is so desperate to keep his audience away from the audience, along with these two, that he is willing to lose millions of dollars.”
Ingraham responded to Behar in a tweet, claiming he had “two commercial breaks on Thursday night”. According to PolitiFact, Carlson and Hannity’s shows had no commercial breaks, while Ingraham “went to commercials a few times.”
