Riverdale Seasons Index 1 to 6

Riverdale

A series can take you to another universe just by watching it. It is an art form capable of capturing fantastic stories in the most impressive way possible. This has resulted in huge inventions and a plethora of options, and “Riverdale” is one you should add to your list if you value teen drama.

Riverdale is unlike any other teen drama, where each episode ends in a cliffhanger, making you want to watch more. The development of the characters in the series is based on Archie comics, although the plot is darker. The series aroused its audience and led to the production of five full seasons, with the 6th season still in progress. Season 6 is divided into two parts, one of which has already been released and the second has not been released yet.

The series was announced in May 2016 and the first season started on January 26, 2017 at the CW. After 5 seasons, the genre of the series shifts to supernatural horror.

The show has a varied cast and a futuristic narrative approach. Several LGBTQ + people and their relationships have also been featured in this series, along with an attempt to combine current pop culture and buzzwords.

Plot

Riverdale is a fictional location where murders take place without anyone knowing who committed them. The series is surrounded by the life of Archie Andrew and Jughead’s voice is used throughout the series for narration. At the beginning of the series, we are confronted with a murder of minors in Riverdale, which gives the impression that this pristine city hides many secrets.

Archie Andrews discovers his love for music and his teacher, Betty Cooper unfolds her love for Archie and her family secrets, Veronica Lodge is the young girl who poses a threat to Captain Cheryl Blossom, Jason (teenager who dies at the beginning of the show) twin sister. Jaghead is an outcast and wants to solve the mysteries of the city. Eventually, in collaboration with Archie, Betty and Veronica, they work to unravel the mysteries of the city.

After creating a lot of excitement, the second season piqued everyone’s interest without end. Character development is plentiful, with second casts such as Cheryl Blossom stealing the stage. Incest, inappropriate student-teacher relationships, and corruption are explored in this disturbing murder mystery.

The mysteries tend to increase as you go through a season and the relationships between the characters continue to alternate. Each season ends with a cliffhanger that is later accompanied by the following season. The last season, season 6, begins with a new beginning as the name of the city, Rivervale.

Cheryl and Archie appeared alive in the 6th season after they died in a bomb blast last season. Rivervale, the new city, seems to be either a parallel reality or a dream in which Archie saw another Riverdale. Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa does not agree with any of the theories about Rivervale.

The city of Rivervale, he claims, is a continuation of Riverdale’s secrets and events such as Archie’s death will be revealed this season. Sabrina Spellman, a character from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, will also appear, bringing with her some explanations of the city’s mysteries. Season 6 will hopefully solve all the mysteries of previous seasons, making Rivervale a city you will not want to leave.
