Tajuddin was removed as a member of the UMNO Supreme Council

PASIR Salak MP Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman was removed as a member of the UMNO Supreme Council.

In a letter seen by the news portal Free Malaysia todayUMNO Secretary General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan thanked the controversial MP for the services he provided.

“The president, through this letter, terminated the appointment of Datuk Sherry as a member of the UMNO Supreme Council,” he said, referring to Datuk Sherry party leader Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in a June 21 letter.

Ahmad hoped that Tajuddin, who has been appointed ambassador to Indonesia, would continue to serve as a dedicated member of UMNO.

He also congratulated Tajuddin on his appointment as ambassador.

It was previously reported that Tajuddin had confirmed that he had received an invitation to Istana Negara for his official appointment in Indonesia.

“Yes, I can confirm that. “I have received an invitation from Yang di-Pertuan Agong to receive the letter of appointment as ambassador tomorrow,” he told local media on Sunday (June 19th).

Other ambassadors to make appointments include ambassadors to Japan, Saudi Arabia, Iran and South Korea.
